Welcome! Bienvenido!

At Claremont doors are opened and minds are immersed in the richness of learning in two languages, English and Spanish.  Our two-way dual immersion program allows children to learn a second language the natural way through curricular content and every day interactions.  Students spend half of their day in a Spanish-language classroom learning math, science, reading/writing and music or art; and the other portion of the day learning reading/writing, social studies, physical education and music or art in English.

We embrace our students’ talents, interests and challenges and offer an accepting, caring, and supportive cross-cultural environment in which to learn.  As our motto states, the Claremont students and staff “strive for the highest and work to create a better world.”

  • Dear Claremont Families,

We have enjoyed a wonderful week of learning in two languages and just like the flowers, our Claremont Immersion students are blooming!

Please remember that next Friday, May 10 is the final day to register for summer school.  We encourage as many of our students as possible to participate in this five week program, held at Claremont Immersion this summer.  Summer School is a fantastic way for our students to keep up both languages and be engaged in learning!

I hope to see many of you at the Claremont PTA Silent Auction this Saturday from 6:30 - 9:00 p.m. at Founder's Hall at George Mason University (3351 Fairfax Drive, Arlington).   More information is on the Claremont PTA website at http://claremontpta.org/.  Thank you in advance to the many volunteers who have made this event possible, as well as the support that you provide to our school.

Finally, I would like to thank all of our parents for the many ways that you support the school and your children's education.

    Warm regards,

    Jessica Panfil

    Principal

    Claremont Immersion

    Jessica Panfil

    Directora

    Escuela de Inmersión Claremont
