APS Snapshots Snapshots: Abingdon's CETA Day

In this week’s episode, Snapshots looks at Abingdon Elementary School’s Changing Education Through the Arts (CETA) partnership. The Kennedy Center program is designed to improve student learning across the curriculum through arts integration, instruction that makes natural and significant connections between a subject areas and an art forms. Green Scene: Hoffman-Boston Teaching Gardens
In the second episode, Green Scene visits with Nottingham Elementary School fifth grade students and parent volunteers about their award winning video, “It Takes One.” Earth Charter International selected Nottingham’s video as the winner of its first-ever international contest. Students from Belarus, Costa Rica, Holland, Italy, Mexico, Romania and the United States participated in the contest. (More)
